Terms and Conditions

  • Items Item, Items or goods refer to any single or multiple product displayed on the Wine Cupboard on-line shop.
    Each item is sold as a 75cl bottle of wine except where the product is referred to as a case. Each case is comprised of 6x75cl bottles.
  • Terms of reference The term you, your, and yours refers to you, the customer. I, Us, we, Ours, refers to the Wine Cupboard Ltd.
  • Ownership and Responsibilty The ownership and responsibility of all items will rest with us, until a signature is received from you to acknowledge receipt of the items. Thereafter, ownership and responsibility of the item or items is tranferred to you.
  • Charges and Prices All prices that appear on the website are correct at the time of publication. These prices are subject to change without warning.
  • Customer service Information In the event of a complaint emanating from the purchase of goods from the Wine Cupboard, you should use the following methods in the said order:

  • Data Protection The information supplied by you will only be used for the purposes of processing your order. The data supplied will not be passed to third parties.
    It is important that the data that you have provided is kept up to date. You should therefore notify us promptly of any changes.
  • Refunds and Returns
  • In the event that a request is made for a refund, we require the following:
  • The request must be made within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Thereafter, no refunds can be made. After the 7 days, items can be exchanged for items of an equivalent or lesser value.
  • Consideration of refunds are subject to the items being unopened
  • The cost of return will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • Mitigating Circumstances In situations where the items are faulty, Wine Cupboard will (subject to an investigation) refund or replace the items concerned with the same or an equivalent where possible. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange. We will cover the cost of returning goods if the goods are proved to be faulty.

  • Cancellations
  • Cancellations to orders can be made at any time prior to any transaction (payment being made). Post transaction cancellations become refunds.
  • Payment and Currency
  • All payments will be made via our HSBC secure payment terminal.
    We accept payment in Pound Sterling (£,GBP) only. All prices are displayed in Pound Sterling (£,GBP).
    We accept United Kingdom issued credit and debit cards only. Credit and debit cards must have a matching United Kingdom billing address.
  • Exports
  • Wine Cupboard has a seperate charge for all items being shipped outside of the United Kingdom. All exports will be subject to charges from HM Customs and Excise. To place an order for delivery to a location outside of the United Kingdom, please enquire by telephone or email.
